Round Rock Women's Soccer League host its annual 7v7 Valentine Soccer Tournament!
Women's' league to hold championships

This weekend the Kelly Reeves Sports Complex will host the Independent Women's Football League championship. The IWFL is a full-tackle women's football league that is focused on creating a safe, fun environment for women to play the game and for fans to come out and enjoy the game. Founded in 2000 the league currently has 1,600 women playing on 51 different teams across all of North America including Canadian and American cities.
The IWFL North American championship will be played on Saturday starting at 10:05 a.m and pitting the top two tier two teams - the 9-0 Eastern Conference champion Montreal Blitz and the 6-3 Western Conference champion Bay Area Bandits - against one another. The tier one teams will kick off the World Championship game at 7:05 p.m. The championship game will feature the battle of two undefeated teams with the Eastern Conference champion Boston Militia taking on the Western Conference champion Sacramento Sirens. Both teams have a 10-0 record. Sunday the IWFL will play their All-Star game with the kick off set for 10:05 a.m.
Tickets for each of the games can be bought at the gate and a ticket package for both games will be available for $20. Tickets for the All-Star game on Sunday will be $5.00 at the gate. The IWFL website at http://www.iwflsports.com/ also has pre-purchase tickets available.
