Sports Capital of Texas

Fun fact: Round Rock is deemed the “Sports Capital of Texas!” We earned this esteemed title with our nationally recognized facilities, fields, and courts. Many of these facilities are located within Old Settlers Park, including Champion Fields, where you’ll find 20 baseball fields, five softball fields, 18 batting cages, shaded seating, and warm-up areas. Old Settlers Park also features an 18-hole disc golf course, two football fields, 12 tennis courts, five soccer fields with restroom/concession, sand volleyball courts, cricket space, and cross-country courses. With so much fun packed into one place, the real challenge is deciding where to start!

Trails

It’s time to trailblaze! Gear up for an expedition through 3.3 miles of paved trails at Old Settlers Park. These winding routes will lead you on a serene journey, connecting you to iconic landmarks like the Dell Diamond, weaving through soccer fields, and offering peaceful moments at the Rabb Pavilion and Lakeview Pavilion. Bright Lake

We’re happiest by the water, so we’re regulars on the shores of Bright Lake! With its ample bank access, it’s a prime spot for reeling in prized catches like catfish, largemouth bass, and rainbow trout. But Bright Lake isn’t just about fishing—it’s a vibrant hub for events. Experience holiday magic at Light up the Lake, a winter extravaganza with a memorizing light show. Here’s a video of the spectacle!

Playgrounds and Picnics

Round Rock doesn’t mess around when it comes to play and picnics! We have not one, not two, but seven playgrounds scattered throughout the park. Five covered playgrounds are within the baseball and softball complex, and two more are near the Lakeview and Rabb pavilions. If you’re a picnic aficionado, we have picnic havens scattered throughout Old Settlers Park! There are over 40 picnic areas complete with BBQ grills, ensuring you’ll always find the perfect spot for your spread.
