The City of Round Rock's Parks and Recreation Department presents the Outdoor Family Campout on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21 and 22, 2012 at Old Settler’s Park.

It is said that a family that plays together stays together. Is there a better way to create lasting memories than through camping, fishing or other similar activities? We don’t think so, however, fewer families are enjoying these activities, the outdoors and each other.
The Dimensions in Blue jazz ensemble, from the United States Air Force Band of the West, generates a unique excitement through performances of America’s only original art form: Jazz. As one of the Air Force’s finest and most versatile big bands, Dimensions in Blue features 18 talented musicians from around the country. The band currently tours over 30,000 miles and entertains over a million people each year.

The opening of Imagine, a celebration of Round Rock area visual and performing art, will be held February 24, 2012. The visual art portion of the show is juried. In addition to the juried show, there are theatrical presentations and live music at the Texas State University Higher Educations Center.
A VIP party is held prior to opening up the building to the general public. A donation of at least $250.00 provides access to the VIP party.
